Hello and welcome to my site! My name is Beverly Michie. I discovered polymer clay about 20 years ago in a miniatures shop, and used it exclusively for scale miniatures until I came across "The New Clay" by Nan Roche in 1992. Her book opened my eyes - polymer clay could be used for something BESIDES minis!

I started Clay FUNdamentals because I rarely do miniatures any more. Although I love to make jewelry, the most popular things I create tend to be objects you can play with, and things with a sense of humor.
